The exhibition depicts the crucial moment of loss of independence: September 1939 so as to enable to understand its origin and significance for the later history of Poland. Iconographic materials include archival photographs, posters, and leaflets. They will be supplemented with short calendar notes and passages from eye-witness accounts, diaries, memoirs, quotations from speeches, documents, press reports, etc.
